2011 / Powder coated Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Acrylic, RGB LED waterproof spotlights / 13.5’x 62’x 3’
This school of Salmon swims toward the entrance of the newly remodeled Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. There are 11 Salmon total and each is lit with a waterproof LED Spotlight that cycles through the entire spectrum of color each night as the sun goes down. As the patrons enter the park the Salmon have one appearance and they change completely as you get a few innings into the game. The Salmon took advantage of electrified posts that were not being utilized, and for legal reasons could not be torn down in the remodeling.
