The Arm of the Kraken

The Arm of the Kraken

This 12′ tall tentacle emerged near the Washington State Ferry Terminal on Bainbridge Island, Washington. This large and imposing tentacle greets visitors as they off-load from the ferry. Carved from a single Red Cedar tree trunk, it is a fun and memorable way to begin a visit to the Kitsap Peninsula. Bill Marler of Marler/Clark Law Firm provided a place for this Kraken to surface.

Eleanor Reynolds, Spencer West of West Woodworking, and Artist Will Robinson were key to the success of this installation.
